Baby Shark Birthday Party

Our 2 year old has been loving the new Baby Shark song by Pinkfong and I thought it would be fun to have a Baby Shark themed party. It was really easy to do and required pretty minimal decorations. The only thing I bought (other than food) were the blue balloons from the dollar store! All of the supplies I used, I had on hand and use for most occasions: sign maker, watercolor paper, wrapping paper, etc.

Baby Shark DIY banner made with the Alphabet Punchboard from We R Memory Keepers. Love that thing and I use it for just about every occasion to make customized signs. My daughter made the shark family banner below it using watercolor paper and regular Crayola markers.

One of my favorite little hacks that I also use for almost every occasion is the wrapping paper table runner! I have a bunch of different cheap wrapping paper from Homegoods and it always looks so gorgeous and special. I just tape the ends to the table to keep it in place.

Shark bite placemats are super easy too. I just cut out bite marks out of watercolor paper.

I also made some custom little shark fins out of watercolor paper and colored them in grey for the cupcake toppers.

Champagne glasses labeled for each shark family member. These are the wine glass pens we have to personalize glasses and they wash right off with soapy water after the party.

Lots of blue balloons from the Dollar Tree (I used about 2 packs of 15 each). I also put down a couple of beach towels and scattered some sea animals to complete the theme.

I drew on some quick waves and sharks with chalk on the walkway.

Party has a bit hit with our baby boy!
