DIY Ornaments For Everyone on Your List

Who is ready for the cutest DIY glittery ornaments?

This is a really nice non-bake recipe from Aleene's glue to make tacky dough. It gets pretty sticky while you're mixing it and then turns out really nice and smooth.

DIY ornaments dough recipe.

Mix together:

- 1 cup Corn Starch

After we mixed the dough, we rolled it out into about 1/4 inch thickness. We then used cookie cutters to cut out the shapes and punched a hole on top using a straw. Then we used Elmer's glue (you can also use Aleene's if you already have that handy) and glitter, glitter, glitter! Then we let them dry overnight and they were all ready to go the next morning. The ornaments don't shrink, discolor or change at all, which I thought was really nice.

These ornaments made great gifts and I can't wait to make many more this year! I have to say that they turn out so clean and adorable. They are also nice and light and not heavy like some of the salt dough recipes to be able to hang on any tree. Enjoy!
