Gerhard Richter inspired scrape painting

Gerhard Richter is one of my long-time favorite painters so I decided to create a Richter-inspired art with Lena.

We used our favorite watercolor paper and OOLY Chunkies Paint Sticks (linked below). Lena selected the colors, I cut 1/4 inch slices of the painsticks to place at the top of the paper and Lena scraped them down. That's it!

The wooden box worked ok, but I would use something smaller like a ruler in the future to make it easier to scrape. I absolutely love how the colors came together!

Hope you enjoy!
